Fugue, the company automating security and compliance in the cloud, today announced that it won the CyberSecurity Breakthrough Award for IaaS Security Solution of the Year.

The CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards recognize the top companies, products, innovation and people in the cybersecurity industry. Fugue was recognized for its solution that changes the way enterprises address policy compliance and misconfiguration risk for cloud infrastructure. Fugue automatically identifies any policy violation, unauthorized change, or misconfiguration and remediates it to a known-good baseline the moment it occurs.

“As enterprise cloud adoption increases at a breathtaking pace, cloud infrastructure misconfiguration has emerged as a primary cause of data breaches,” said Phillip Merrick, CEO of Fugue. “Given the critical nature of securing the cloud as it continues to grow, Fugue is proud to be recognized for developing the most innovative and effective cloud security solution in its category.”

With more than 3,000 nominations worldwide, competition for the 2018 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards was more robust than ever. As a winner, Fugue joins top companies and startups in the InfoSec industry, including Symantec, SonicWall, Duo Security, BlackBerry, Darktrace, McAfee, AlienVault, and Check Point.
