Frederick, Md. – February 25, 2019  Fugue, the company delivering autonomous cloud security and compliance to prevent data breaches and policy violations, today announced its Chief Executive Officer Phillip Merrick will speak at the KeyBanc Capital Markets 2019 Emerging Technology Summit on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at The Park Central Hotel in San Francisco.

Merrick, who has more than 20 years of experience growing enterprise software and SaaS companies, leads Fugue’s efforts to educate the market about how enterprises can more easily and effectively address cloud security issues such as policy compliance and misconfiguration errors.

He will speak about how enterprises can strengthen their security and compliance postures as they migrate more of their applications and data stores to the cloud. Gartner estimates that “through 2022, at least 95% of cloud security failures will be the customer’s fault”—the category of cloud vulnerabilities that Fugue’s Software-as-a-Service product addresses.
