Frederick, MD – November 20, 2018 – Fugue, the company automating cloud security and compliance enforcement to prevent data breaches and policy violations, today announced it has been named to the inaugural Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) Tech 100. The companies and individuals named were recognized for driving tech innovation, implementing new solutions for their customers, and leading growth in the Greater Washington, D.C., region.
“We’re honored to be named to the NVTC Tech 100, especially given the intense competition in the region,” said Fugue CEO Phillip Merrick. “We appreciate this recognition of our efforts to bring powerful cloud security and compliance automation solutions to commercial enterprises and public sector agencies.”
Fugue was chosen for inclusion in the NVTC Tech 100 on the strength of its self-healing cloud infrastructure solutions, which allow enterprises operating on cloud at scale to do so securely and in accordance with policy. Gartner estimates that through 2020, 80 percent of cloud breaches will be due to misconfiguration and human error—the category of cloud vulnerabilities that Fugue eliminates.
Fugue recently announced Risk Manager, a Software-as-a-Service product that provides full visibility into the security and compliance posture of cloud infrastructure and the assurance it always complies with security policy. Fugue Risk Manager is a SaaS complement to Fugue Platform, which integrates policy-driven cloud infrastructure compliance into CI/CD pipelines and enforces continuous compliance across cloud environments.
In October, Fugue announced a strategic partnership with In-Q-Tel to help bring Fugue’s cloud security and compliance capabilities to U.S. federal agencies.
